It seems like it just started yesterday, but the curtains are beginning to close on another SXSW Film Festival. And part of that process means handing out awards, with the SXSW jury revealing the winners who will be leaving Austin with more than just BBQ stains and memories of a great time.

The two big feature winners were Sarah-Violet Bliss & Charles Rogers‘ “Fort Tilden” and the documentary “The Great Invisible,” taking the Narrative and Documentary categories, respectively. The win puts both films on festival programming radars for the rest of the year, with buyers surely to perk up as well for any acquisition talks.

Other awards highlights: Natalie Tena and David Verdaguer got a special award for their performance in the romantic drama “10,000 KM (Long Distance)” (check out the trailer here). Richard Linklater and his latest “Boyhood” took the Lone Star trophy, while “True Detective” nabbed a win for title design.
