Although it’s set for limited release later this spring, we’re going to start to see the first reactions to Park Chan-Wook’s English-language debut “Stoker” when it premieres this weekend at the Sundance Film Festival. But if you can't be there, in advance of its world premiere, Hitfix has some exclusive new images from the film.
Mia Wasikowska stars as India, whose enigmatic and estranged uncle (Goode) returns to the family after the death of the her father, and takes up with her mother (Kidman). His arrival coincides with the disappearance of people in her town, and he might be the cause. If you want to know what kind of mood and tone the movie will deliver, we've also got a listing of all the songs in the film, that while sparse, is nonetheless fairly interesting. There are two new pieces from composer Philip Glass, a tune from Nancy Sinatra & Lee Hazlewood and more. Of course, the film features a score by Clint Mansell, details which we hope to hear more of soon.
Check out the stills below, which feature the cast and Chan-wook on set. “Stoker” hits theaters in limited release on March 1st.
