Watch: God Does Not Build In Straight Lines In New Clip From 'Prometheus'

null" 'Prometheus' originated from a very simple question that haunted me after the first 'Alien,' and no one answered in subsequent 'Alien' films: who was the Space Jockey—the big guy in the seat? We didn’t know if it was going to be a sequel or a prequel. I think you might not even argue it’s a prequel because it moves so far away from the original," Ridley Scott recently wrote in Newsweek, adding another puzzle piece to the movie. And as the continuing promotional train for "Prometheus" keeps chugging along, we're seeing more and more of what this not-a-prequel-exactly will be offering.

A new clip from the movie has landed, and it features the titular ship landing on the alien planet, with Logan Marshall-Green dropping a particularly intriguing bit of dialogue: "God does not build in straight lines." It confirms what we already knew, that the movie will find our space explorers searching for our creator. Of course, what they find isn't pleasant in the slightest. If anything, this scene shows that no expense was spared, with the team on board the ship using those transparent touch-enabled computer screens that are all the rage now apparently (please also see "The Avengers"). But yeah, the scale of everything is impressive.

If you want to spoil the movie for yourself you can read the soundtrack tracklisting or just patiently wait for the movie to open on June 8th. [Prometheus Forums]
