It’s a busy 2022 ahead for Chris Pratt. Alongside the release of “Jurassic World: Dominion,” Pratt reprises his role as Peter Quill in “Thor: Love And Thunder” in July. There’s also the “Guardians Of The Galaxy Holiday Special” on the way and the new “Mario” movie next year. Also coming: “Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3,” but that’s not until May 2023. So, yes, expect to see Chris Pratt’s handsome mug everywhere for the next year. Amazon Prime Video adds another offering to that list for this summer: “The Terminal List.”

The series is Pratt’s first main role in television since his time on “Parks And Recreation.” The new series stars Pratt as a Navy Seal commander who returns home from a covert mission gone wrong to discover his doubts about what happened aren’t the only thing ready to tear his life apart. Based on Jack Carr‘s novel of the same name, “The Terminal List” has Pratt in perhaps his most action-packed role yet.
Alongside Pratt, “The Terminal List” also stars Taylor Kitsch, Constance Wu, Jeanne Tripplehorn, Riley Keough, Patrick Schwarzeneggar, and Arlo Mentz. Recurring cast members include Jai Courtney, LaMonica Garrett, Alexis Louder, Tom Amandes, and JD Pardo.
Antoine Fuqua, fresh off his Netflix film “The Guilty,” co-directs the new series with cinematographer Ellen Kuras. Fuqua already directed Pratt in the 2016 remake of “The Magnificent Seven.” David DiGilio pens the series and co-executive produces with Fuqua and Pratt.
So, how will Pratt’s return to TV go alongside his further ascendence into the blockbuster stratosphere? Find out when “The Terminal List” hits Amazon Prime on July 1. Watch the show’s trailer below:
