Blood & A Metronome: International Poster For Park Chan-Wook's Sundance Entry 'Stoker'

nullFor those eagerly awaiting Park Chan-Wook's "Stoker," they got a big boost of good news this week as the film was announced as part of the Sundance Film Festival's lineup for January. And with international release dates following shortly thereafter, the faucet is slowly being turned on with new images and a poster emerging in the past week or so. And now, another eye grabbing piece of art has dropped.

A new international one sheet has arrived, and cryptically shows a man, face obscured, but with blood on his neck, along with a metronome that has been central to the trailers. We presume the man in the poster is Nicole Kidman's husband, who passes away, prompting Matthew Goode's uncle to move in, forever changing the life of the wife and daughter, played by Mia Wasikowska. And when bodies start turning up, and the evidence points to the Uncle, things start tacking an even more sinister tone.

We're stoked (ha ha) for this one and if you're not in Park City, not to worry. It opens on March 1, 2013. [IMPA]null
