Breaking Bad” fans, hold your introductory meth lab kits. After months of secrecy about a “Breaking Bad” feature set to hit Netflix and AMC sometime in 2020, the haze the project lived under for months was finally lifted earlier this fall. Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) is back, and he’s going to star in a sequel called, “El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie.” As the new teaser demonstrates, unveiled tonight during the Emmy broadcast, “El Camino” picks up just hours after the events of the “Breaking Bad” finale– the Alberqurque police putting out an APB bulletin about Pinkman’s whereabouts, though they obviously don’t know his identity. Late in August, Cranston and Paul tweeted the same photo of a donkey at the exact same time confusing fans and leading to many to believe this was a confirmation or a tease about “El Camino,” then still untitled and mostly under wraps. It turns out it was a tease for a joint tequila venture the acting friends have created together, but, it seems nearly impossible to our minds that Cranston doesn’t show up at least a little bit. After all, the specter of Walter White is going to hang heavy over Jesse Pinkman no matter what.
