In an Instagram post earlier this week, Yi, who played costume designer Safowa Bright-Asare in the film, called out not just Franco, but specifically producer Seth Rogen, accusing him of enabling Franco’s behavior. Yi described how she tried to “break legal contract” and quit the film over allegations about Franco, and how the filmmakers tried to bribe her by offering a bigger acting role in the film to keep her involved, which was “the exact opposite of what I wanted,” Yi wrote. “They minimized and said Franco being a predator was so last [year] and that he changed… when I literally heard of him abusing new women that week,” she continued.

Yi also called out those who enabled the toxic and abusive behavior that took place during the making of “The Disaster Artist,” and singled out Rogen’s role as a producer. “Enablers are just as toxic and are abusers too,” Yi wrote. “Disgusted by white men choosing power over protecting children and women from predators. Educate, organize, and dismantle corruption in your circles and in the law.”

In a caption to her post, Yi added, “Seth Rogen was one of the producers on this film so he definitely knows about the bribe and why I quit. Seth also did a sketch on ‘SNL’ with Franco enabling Franco preying on children. Right after Franco was caught. Franco has a long history of preying on children. This is on top all the corrupt laws that protect predators made by violent white men.”

Franco has faced multiple allegations of sexual misconduct. Shortly after “The Disaster Artist” arrived in theaters, the Los Angeles Times reported that five women were accusing Franco of sexually inappropriate behavior at his acting school Studio 4. So far, no one involved with “The Disaster Artist,” including Rogen and Franco, have publicly responded to the accusations.
