Heh. OK, with the help of, funny looking digital effects (see the image above), Chris Evans goes from 90lb weakling to beefcakey superhero in this first look Super Bowl spot of Marvel‘s “Captain America: The First Avenger.”
Arriving on July 22, 2011 the picture, directed by Joe Johnston of “The Wolf Man” and “Jumanji” fame, stars Evans, Hugo Weaving, Tommy Lee Jones, Dominic Cooper, Hayley Atwell, Sebastian Stan, and Stanley Tucci among a few others. Trailer below, it looks a little silly, but hey, it’s hard to judge from :30 seconds and the humor does work. This teaser does give us a first look peek at the Red Skull character that Weaving eventually becomes. That image below the jump too.
