So, the sequel we would’ve been really be into as tweenagers is now arriving twenty years later when we’re cynical adults, so needless to say, our excitement level for “Dumb And Dumber To” is somewhat muted. That said, it doesn’t seem like the formula is being messed with too much, so maybe that’s a good thing.
Anyway, Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are reprising their roles as Lloyd and Harry (with the Farrellys directing), and again hitting the road, this time so Harry can find his illegitimate daughter for a kidney transplant. And yeah, things will be getting wacky or whatever. We’ll see how it all turns on November 14th. Update: a poster has arrived too. Trailer arrives next week. [AMC Theatres]
