Talk about a triple threat: Jamie Foxx is set to star, produce and write songs for the upcoming Fox Animation film “Welcome To The Jungle.”
Details on the film, which is based on a pitch by Foxx and screenwriter Malcolm Spellman (“Our Family Wedding”), are being kept under wraps. The only hint being given is a vague movie poster ready slogan, “Life is a jungle and welcome to it.” Parse from that what you will.
“Welcome To The Jungle” will be Foxx’s first animated film and adds yet another project to his growing plate which includes: video game adaptation “Kane & Lynch” with Bruce Willis; buddy cop film “Streets Of Fire” with Ashton Kutcher and possibly a Mike Tyson biopic directed by Taylor Hackford.
Foxx will next be on screen this summer in the Robert Downey Jr. and Zach Galifianakis comedy “Due Date” directed by Todd Phillips.
