Kanye West Really Loves 'Deadpool 2' And Wishes His Music Was Featured In The Film

If you left your screening of “Deadpool 2” thinking, “Man, that movie was great, but I really wish it featured a Kanye West song!” then maybe your wish will be granted soon. Recently on Twitter, Kanye West took time from his busy career of gloating about his accomplishments and being angry at the world to talk about how much he loves the “Deadpool” franchise, going so far as to offer up his own music for future films.

“I love both Deadpool movies?????????… I heard tracks in it that sound similar to mine… bro I would have cleared my music for Deadpool …” tweeted West.

He continued in another tweet, saying, “your guys writing and approach is so innovative … I love how you guys break the 4th wall… thank you for being innovative and please know I’m down to clear next time.”

Now, if you’ve been following Ryan Reynolds and his relentless marketing of “Deadpool 2,” you know that the actor has never shied away from a bit of easy publicity for his superhero flick. And you better believe that once he found out that West was tweeting about his film, Reynolds was quick to reply.

In response to West saying that some of the music sounds similar to his own, Reynolds tweeted, “Agree. I’m having a word with Celine Dion.”

As Reynolds alludes to in his tweet, the soundtrack for “Deadpool 2” made headlines for its eclectic mix of hip-hop, ‘80s pop, and yes, even a Celine Dion ballad. It’s safe to say that if Kanye had tweeted about his love of “Deadpool” before the sequel premiered, Reynolds would have most likely found a way to collaborate with the massively popular rapper.

Sadly, any hope of a Deadpool/Kanye collab is going to have to be shelved until “Deadpool 3” (if it happens) or perhaps “X-Force.” Let’s pray for a Kanye West “Wild Wild West”-style theme song!
