Kathryn Hahn To Star In 'Tiny Beautiful Things' Hulu Series From 'Little Fires Everywhere' Showrunner

After her scene-stealing role on “WandaVision” put her in front of millions of new fans, it appears Kathryn Hahn isn’t slowing down anytime soon. The acclaimed actress has already committed to a new Marvel series spinning off of “WandaVision,” but she’s also got a number of other projects in the works, including a new Hulu series, “Tiny Beautiful Things.”

According to Deadline, Hulu is teaming up with creator Liz Tigelaar to bring “Tiny Beautiful Things” to the streaming service. The series will star Kathryn Hahn in the lead role and is based on the best-selling novel of the same name from author Cheryl Strayed. The series also reteams Tigelaar, who worked on “Little Fires Everywhere,” with Reese Witherspoon and Hello Sunshine, who are producing the show alongside folks such as Laura Dern, Lauren Neustadter, Stacey Silverman, and Jayme Lemons.

Here’s the synopsis:

“‘Tiny Beautiful Things’ is about a woman who reluctantly becomes Dear Sugar — an anonymous, revered advice columnist — when her own life is falling apart. Told in multiple timelines with astonishing intimacy, nerve and candor, she excavates the beauty, struggle and humor in her own life to show us that we are not beyond rescue, that it’s our stories that will ultimately save us.”

“It has been such an honor to work with Cheryl Strayed, a writer who has had such a profound impact on my life, and, along with an amazing writing staff, adapt her book into series,” said Tigelaar. “Just like Dear Sugar, the advice column she helmed, Cheryl brings compassion, wisdom, humor and love to everything she does, and this show is no different. I’m so grateful to Hello Sunshine and Jaywalker, who entrusted me to tell this story. And I’m beyond thrilled to be working with Kathryn Hahn, whose gift is imbuing the fierce, complicated characters she portrays with humor, honesty, and vulnerability. A huge thank you to Peter, Dana, Craig and Jonnie and everyone at ABC Signature and Hulu. This project feels like coming home.”

Obviously, it’s far too early to know when we might see “Tiny Beautiful Things” arrive on Hulu, but the series is definitely going to be one to watch out for, considering all the talent already involved.
