New Pics Of Brad Pitt Doing Business In America In 'Killing Them Softly'

nullIn case you haven't been able to tell by the pretty excellent posters for "Killing Them Softly," the film is as much about America and the price of doing business as it is about the "plot" (such as it is) about a high stakes poker game that gets jacked by two hapless would be criminals. There is a pretty pointed and sneering tenor to the picture that doesn't flinch from its politics, which expresses the belief that the trickle down theory is leaving everyone on the bottom with nothing.

Some new pics have emerged for the Brad Pitt-starring flick, and they give us another look at the characters you'll meet in the movie. Of course, there's Pitt's Jackie Cogan, a hitman who contracts out his job to James Gandolfini's Mickey, another man in the same business. And then there's Frankie (Scoot McNairy) who is just trying to keep his head above water and hopefully evade the net that will begin to circle around him. We probably don't have to tell you the cast is great as is the film, which we called in Cannes "one of the best movies of the year" that "pulses and burns in a way few films ever do."

"Killing Them Softly" opens on November 30th. [Kinopoisk]nullnullnull
