First, the latest synopsis for the film from Universal: residents in a lonely gulch of inland California bear witness to an uncanny and chilling discovery.  That’s certainly a cryptic plot line. But the new final trailer for “Nope” offers more details beyond that. “Get Out” star Daniel Kaluuya and Keke Palmer are sibling ranch owners who, after aliens begin to hover over and around their property, scheme up a plan to capture the world’s first authentic footage of UFOs–and make a lot of money in the process. But, will their plans falter in the face of these otherworldly visitors?

“Nope” also stars Steven Yeun, Michael Wincott, Brandon Perea, and Barbie FerreiraDonna Mills, Jennifer Lafleur, Andrew Patrick Ralston, Keith David, and Terry Notary round out the main cast.

Peele writes and directs “Nope,” as he did with “Get Out” and “Us.” He also co-produces through his Monkeypaw Productions with Ian Cooper, with Robert Graf on board as executive producer.  Hoyte van Hoytema, no stranger to sci-fi epics thanks to his work on films like “Interstellar” and “Ad Astra,” is the movie’s director of photography.

So, now that audiences know a little more about what “Nope” brings to the table, Peele’s latest is the most anticipated movie this summer. The film hits theaters everywhere on July 22, courtesy of Universal. Watch the final trailer below.
