The story follows a journalist that becomes enthralled with a woman that is the daughter of a famous photographer that recently passed away. Over the course of the film, the young woman has to come to terms with her mother’s death while also navigating this budding love affair with her new beau.
The film stars Lakeith Stanfield and Issa Rae alongside Chanté Adams, Y’lan Noel, and Rob Morgan. “The Photograph” is from writer-director Stella Meghie. The filmmaker’s previous films include “The Weekend,” “Everything, Everything,” and “Jean of the Joneses.”
