Jeffery Dean Morgan Is Out For Vengeance In 'The Postcard Killings' Trailer

Between playing the brutal bat-wielding Negan on “The Walking Dead,” and fearless monster hunter John Winchester on “Supernatural,” Jeffery Dean Morgan is not a guy you want to mess with. He continues that streak with his new role as a New York detective in the upcoming film, “The Postcard Killings.”

The film, based on the bestseller by James Patterson and Liza Marklund, tells the story of Detective Jacob Kanon dealing with the tragic, gruesome and sudden deaths of his daughter and son-in-law. Kanon travels to London and gets involved to avenge his daughter’s death, only to realize that they now have a serial killer on their hands. This killer travels all over the world, announcing his arrival in each city by postcard, only to brutally murder a new couple on each trip. Kanon partners up with a local cop to catch the killer, and the race against the clock is on.

In The Postcard Killings, based on the James Patterson and Liza Marklund #1 New York Times bestselling novel, NY Detective Jacob Kanon’s (Jeffery Dean Morgan) world is destroyed when his daughter and son-in-law are brutally murdered in London. Unable to sit idly by and do nothing, Jacob travels to London get the answers he needs. As he learns of similar heinous murders happening across Europe – each preceded by a postcard sent to a local journalist – Jacob is in a race against time to stop the killings and find justice for his little girl.

The film drops in theaters, on-demand and digital on March 13. Famke Janssen (“X-Men”), Cush Jumbo (“The Good Wife”), and Denis O’Hare (“Dallas Buyers Club”) join Morgan in the cast of “The Postcard Killings.” Take a look at the new trailer below.
