'Raised By Wolves' Season 2 Trailer: Ridley Scott's Sci-Fi Series Returns To HBO Max Next Month

Ridley Scott sure does enjoy his existential sci-fi, huh? From his early days with “Blade Runner” and then in his polarizing ‘Alien’ prequels, it’s clear Scott has a love of trying to use sci-fi to explain humanity and its origins. And this is seen again in the HBO Max series, “Raised by Wolves.”

Season 2 of “Raised by Wolves” is right around the corner, and HBO Max has released its full trailer for the new episodes. The footage shows how the series continues from Season 1, further exploring the relationship between a group of human children and their android caretakers. But as you can see in the trailer, there are questions of faith and humanity all throughout.

The sci-fi series stars Amanda Collin, Abubakar Salim, Travis Fimmel, Niamh Algar, and Kim Engelbrecht. The supporting cast also includes Winta McGrath, Jordan Loughran, Matias Varela, Felix Jamieson, Ethan Hazzard, Aasiya Shah, Ivy Wong, Peter Christoffersen, Selina Jones, Morgan Santo, James Harkness, and Jennifer Saayeng

“Raised by Wolves” is executive produced by Ridley Scott and created by Aaron Guzikowski. You may remember Guzikowski as the writer of Denis Villeneuve’s 2013 crime thriller, “Prisoners.” Obviously, ‘Wolves’ is a completely different beast, if you will, than that film.

“Raised By Wolves” Season 2 debuts on HBO Max on February 3. You can watch the new trailer below.

Here’s the synopsis for Season 2:

In season two of RAISED BY WOLVES, Android partners Mother (Amanda Collin) and Father (Abubakar Salim), along with their brood of six human children, join a newly formed atheistic colony in Kepler 22 b’s mysterious tropical zone. But navigating this strange new society is only the start of their troubles as Mother’s “natural child” threatens to drive what little remains of the human race to extinction.
