We can’t deny the pleasures of “The Ballad Of Buster Scruggs” (Playlist review here) which, even though it may be mid-tier Coen Brothers (mileage will vary for all of course), is still a lot of fun and another feather in the cap of Netflix’ recent, bold partnerships with great auteur filmmakers. Oscar winner Alfonso Cuaron‘s latest film (Playlist review here) is another reminder that he’s easily one of the great living filmmakers of our time. It’s a stunner, and not to be missed. See it in theaters, if you can. But Does Netflix really care about the theatrical performance? We discuss!
