'Servant': M. Night Shyamalan Says Directors Of 'Raw' & 'Blue My Mind' Are Helming Episodes Of Season 2

To say that Apple’s launch of its streaming service isn’t going as well as the tech company would have hoped is a bit of an understatement. Once the initial slate of series launched in November, each one getting fairly terrible reviews (despite the inexplicable awards recognition for “The Morning Show”), it was clear that Apple TV+ wasn’t going to have a smooth launch. In a new tweet, Shyamalan, who serves as executive producer and occasional director on the series, announced that he will return to helm at least one of the episodes of Season 2 along with some pretty great international directors.

Julia Ducournau, @lisa_bruhlmann, & @isabellaeklof. Their films Raw, Blue my Mind, & Holiday are ?”

For those that initially skipped the first season of “Servant,” the Apple TV+ series follows a married couple that hires a nanny to take care of a “real doll” version of their baby, Jericho. The doll is meant to replace their child, who died unexpectedly. It’s creepy, and though not perfect, a pretty good series for those wanting something a bit more dour and dramatic, with a dash of absurdity for flavor.

There’s no release date set for “Servant” Season 2, but we’ll definitely keep an eye out.
