If you can correctly predict the six Emmy nominees for Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series this year then you better go place a bet in Vegas. This category is so wide open that only one actor may repeat their nomination from 2020. O.K., Kenan Thompson, no pressure on landing your third nomination in four years.

The “Saturday Night Live” staple could be joined by his co-star Bowen Yang or Pete Davidson. Laurence Fishburne could land his second Emmy nomination for “Black-ish.” Both Brett Goldstein, Jeremy Swift, and Brendan Hunt are in the mix for “Ted Lasso.” Michael Huisman and T.R. Night could crash the party for “The Flight Attendant.” Three-time Emmy winner Ray Romano could land his seventh acting nomination for “Made for Love.” 10-time nominee Paul Reiser could earn his 11th for “The Kominsky Method.” But outside of Thompson, it might just all be a pick ’em.
