Timothée Chalamet & Taylor Russell Appear In First Look At Luca Guadagnino's 'Bones And All'

Believe it or not, it’s only been four years since Timothée Chalamet’s breakout role in “Call Me By Your Name,” which earned him an Oscar nomination and made him one of the most in-demand actors on the planet. Since then, he’s appeared in a number of big films and will reach even new heights in the upcoming “Dune” and just-announced “Wonka” features. But let’s not forget he’s also got a reunion with “Call Me By Your Name” filmmaker Luca Guadagnino in a film called “Bones and All.”

Luca Guadagnino is currently in production on the new drama, “Bones and All.” And with the film currently filming, Deadline has shared a first look photo from the feature showcasing Chalamet and his co-star Taylor Russell. There’s still a fair amount of mystery about the feature, but the film is said to follow the journey of two young lovers through the backroads of Reagan’s America in the ‘80s as they attempt to find a way to keep their relationship alive, as their terrifying pasts come back to haunt them.

As mentioned Chalamet stars as one of the two people in the relationship, but he’s appearing opposite Russell, who is yet another massive up-and-coming star in Hollywood. Back in 2019, she appeared in two breakout roles, one being the critically-acclaimed, award-winning drama “Waves” and the other being the shocking box office hit horror feature, “Escape Room” (with the sequel arriving later this year). So, as he’s wont to do, Guadagnino has secured some massive talents for yet another feature.

There’s no release date set for “Bones and All.” Clearly, with production going on right now, the film is expected to be released sometime in 2022 at one of the big festivals. You wouldn’t expect Guadagnino not to have a massive festival premiere, right? So, perhaps Cannes? We’ll just have to wait and see.
