“Angelheaded Hipster: The Songs of Marc Bolan & T. Rex”
Angelheaded Hipster” is a documentary celebrating the work of Marc Bolan, who like David Bowe, made sure the world knew it was okay to break barriers and express your unique self. On hand to celebrate the late musician are some of the biggest names in music, such as U2, Billy Idol, Ringo Star, and Elton John. Directed by Ethan Silverman, whose short films have premiered at Sundance, the film is a celebration of creativity and will introduce Bolan to a new audience as he weaves archival footage and interviews. 

Taurus” 
Machine Gun Kelly is all over the news right now due to his recent release of “Mainstream Sellout” and his relationship with Megan Fox, but he’s about to be talked about even more thanks to the upcoming release of Tim Sutton’s “Taurus.” Starring, serving as executive producer, composer, and script consultant, Colson Baker is back on the big screen playing a rock/rapper modeled on himself. “Taurus” is a fictional exploration of fame, addiction, artistic process, and the music industry. Colson will also speak at Tribeca. 

Somewhere In Queens
Ray Romano already has quite the reputation for being a great comic and actor, but “Somewhere in Queens” brings to light his talent in writing and directing as well. The story follows Leo Russo (Romano) who meddles in teen social dynamics. His intentions are positive, he’s a father trying to make sure his son stays happy, but he learns that keeping secrets from his wife is more difficult than expected. “Somewhere in Queens” has an all-star cast featuring Tony Lo Bianco, Sadie Stanley, Sebastian Maniscalco, and Jennifer Esposito.

A Love Song” 
The Official Selection of both the 2022 Berlin Film Festival and Sundance, “A Love Song” is written and directed by Max Walker-Silverman. The film follows a woman who is waiting alone for an old flame at a rural campground. “A Love Song” stars Dale Dickey, with Wes Studi, Michelle Wilson, Benja K. Thomas, Marty Grace Dennis, and John Way.

Alone Together
Planning to escape the pandemic, June (Katie Holmes) books a romantic getaway upstate for her and her boyfriend. Her plans start to crumble when she realizes, upon arrival, that her accommodations have been double-booked, leading her to share the space with Charlie, who is newly single. When June’s boyfriend decides not to attend the getaway, she’s left to make the most of her time with a complete stranger. 

ThreeHeaded Beast
Co-directors Fernando Andres and Tyler Rugh highlight interpersonal communication and what we take for granted in their debut film. The film stars Jacob Schatz and Dani Hurtado as Peter and Nina, a couple who are seemingly in a healthy, long-term relationship, but there is something missing.

Petit Mal
Forced to reshape the dynamic they’re used to, throuple Martina, Laia, and Anto contemplate the strength and flexibility of their love when Laia is called away for a long-term project, leaving Martina and Anto to coexist temporarily as a couple. Director, Screenwriter, and Producer Ruth Caudeli stars as Laia, alongside Ana Maria Otalora, and Silvia Varon. 

American Pain
Another true crime entry, director Darren Foster (“Science Fair” and “Borderland) brings us an incredible documentary that tells the story of the rise and fall of twin brothers, Chris and Jeff George, two Florida bodybuilders who operated one of history’s largest oxycodone trafficking networks.
