Winter might be cruel, but Netflix‘s “A Series Of Unfortunate Events” may be even crueller. The streaming giant scored a melancholy and darkly humorous hit with the first season, bringing Lemony Snicket‘s woeful tales of the Baudelaire orphans to winning life. Bleak, yet brimming with heart and humor, the series hit all the right notes. Now it’s back for a second season, where the Baudelaires will once again have to protect their lives and save their fortune from the clutches of Count Olaf.
Neil Patrick Harris dresses up for this new promo, giving us a glimpse of what’s to come and it includes more villainous treachery, unwanted elective surgeries, man eating lions, violence, fire, and despair. That’s just how we like it. Here’s the synopsis:
More isn’t always better. Sometimes it’s much worse. March 30th, get ready for more villains, more schemes, more peril, more orphans and more intentional fires. It’s really going to be quite dreadful. We can’t wait.
Sounds terrifically terrible.
