2012 marks the 50th anniversary of the Bond franchise, and along with the new movie "Skyfall," folks are also looking back on the series that has become a cultural institution around the world. If you haven't read it, Vanity Fair's piece on the making of "Dr. No" is a great read, and once you're done with that, you can spin the new international trailer below that offers up enough new snippets of footage to be worth your while.
As you already know, Daniel Craig is once again back as 007, in the Sam Mendes directed picture that won't follow the last installments, but instead see him facing off against the blonde haired baddie Silva, played by Javier Bardem. Judi Dench is in command with Ralph Fiennes at her side, Berenice Marlohe is the Bond girl, Naomie Harris kicks ass in some capacity and Ben Whishaw dreams up the gadgets. Exotic locations, big setpieces and the theme that is pretty much implanted in our brain — it's all here.
"Skyfall" opens on November 9th. Watch below. [ComingSoon]
