Breaking what? While the fate of Walter White is on everyone’s mind as his journey kicks off in just over a week (take the phone off the hook folks!), a whole other breed of morally conflicted man is returning to the small screen too. In September, Nucky Thompson and the rest of the gang continue bootleggin’ in the fourth season of “Boardwalk Empire,” and some new images are here to give you a taste.
And what do they show off? Well, not much. Just that the cast—Steve Buscemi, Kelly Macdonald, Michael Shannon, Michael Stuhlbarg and more—all look appropriately handsome and attractive, as do the period sets they all coolly stand around on. However, the pics suggest that new threat Valentin Narcisse, played by Jeffrey Wright, may have an alliance with Michael K. Williams‘ Chalky White. The question for fans is the show might move a bit faster this season, as last year saw things wait until nearly the very end to start ramping up. But it’s still a pretty fascinating world to dive into nonetheless.
