2009 MTV Movie Awards Bring Exclusive Footage Of 'Public Enemies,' 'Transformers' & 'New Moon' Trailer

The 2009 MTV Movie Awards rolled through town last night and has, subsequently, brought us a host of trailers and exclusive footage for upcoming films.

While the show itself was funny, Andy Samberg and his skits were great (good host choice) and the Eminem-Brüno teabag incident was hilarious – the awards themselves were… well, let’s just summarize by saying “Twilight” and “High School Musical 3” swept all major awards and Miley Cyrus beat out A.R. Rahman and Bruce Springsteen for the “Best Song From A Movie” award. And seriously, how many MTV viewers–let alone the rest of the country– do you think saw the MTV Movie Award nominated performance from Kate Winslet in “The Reader”? What did we expect, awards insight? Dunno…

Nevertheless, the first exclusive footage from the awards show was the trailer for “New Moon,” the second installment from the “Twilight” series.

The second is an exclusive clip from Michael Bay’s “Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen” that features Shia Labeouf and Megan Fox as they attempt to hide (without much success) from an impending robot attack.

The third is a clip from “G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra” that begins with a scene featuring Sienna Miller and Lee Byung-Hun as The Baroness and Storm Shadow in their attempts to perpetrate an act of terrorism while Channing Tatum and Marlon Wayans as Duke and and Ripcord do their best to stop them. This is followed by a montage of clips from the film.

Don’t worry, there is light at the end of this tunnel. Also featured in last night’s show was an exclusive clip from the highly anticipated Michael Mann’s “Public Enemies.” The clip consists of interwoven footage from the film’s trailer with several new scenes and interviews with director Mann as well as the film’s leads, Johnny Depp and Christian Bale. Without further ado;
