Frank Marshall’s, producer of the “Bourne” trilogy, has revealed via his Twitter page that the fourth installment of the franchise is aiming for a summer 2011 release with the script by George Nolfi due in June.
However, Matt Damon and Nolfi will reteam and tackle the sci-fi romance film, “The Adjustment Bureau” before the 4th Jason Bourne shoots.
Director Paul Greengrass is still expected to direct and his next collaboration with Matt Damon, “Green Zone,” is expected to appear this fall although it still has no official release date as of yet. But apparently the picture is almost locked. An official date would instill confidence in all of us, hello Universal. We’re not scared of an Iraq War picture although even the director wants to sever ties with the dreaded film demarcation and one early audience screening review wasn’t great, but then again, these audiences aren’t completely trustworthy.
