Hungry, Heathen, Slave: 'House Of Cards' Characters Get Profiled In New Images

nullOne of the big events of 2013 won't be happening at the multiplex, but through your Netflix account, as David Fincher's "House Of Cards" will "unspool" on the streaming rental site. While it's not the first piece of original programming to stream online, it's certainly the most high profile, and it will undoubtedly be a major test for the future of broadcasting, which is only getting more competitive. And with the first trailer turning heads a couple of weeks back, a new batch of character images have dropped.

Kevin Spacey stars as Francis Underwood, the Machiavellian chief whip of the House of Representatives on a ruthless quest for power. Robin Wright, Kate Mara, Michael Kelly, Kristen Connolly, Corey Stoll and Mahershali Ali are among the cast, and it seems none of them are beyond reproach. Each get their own little catch phrase, with the highlighted letters spelling out another attribute they each have. Washington often makes a great backdrop for both comedy and drama, and this looks like it'll be wickedly sharp material.
