Haven’t heard of Brandon T. Jackson yet? You will. The actor plays a guy named, Alpa Chino (get it Scarface?), one of the actor/soldiers in Ben Stiller’s upcoming war comedy, “Tropic Thunder.”
He’s the genuine African-American in the picture who keeps taking umbrage with Robert Downey Jr.’s minstrelsy performance as a Australian actor who undergoes a medical procedure to dye his skin black so he can convincingly play a black man.
Well, evidently Jackson is also some kind of budding musician and comedian as he has a filthy, R&B/hip-hop jam called, “I Love The Pussy,” on the “Tropic Thunder” soundtrack (due August 5) and we’ve got an exclusive first listen of the track. It wouldn’t be out of place on an Usher album, really.
Jackson also has a track on his myspace page called, “Wats Ya Myspace,” and urges you to “call him” and actually has his number listed on the page (323.622.8110). It’s still early on the West Coast, we’ll call him later. Where this song fits into the movie we don’t know yet, but we’re sure we’ll figure it out soon enough.
