Emma Stone is about to be launched into the stratosphere this summer. The actress who worked her way up the ladder with considerable charm in a string of films ("Superbad," "Easy A," "Stupid Crazy Love," "The Help") features in her first franchise in "The Amazing Spider-Man." Then later this fall, she'll go all femme fatale alongside the macho cast of "Gangster Squad." But lest you think she doesn't have time to have fun anymore, you'd be mistaken.
EW reports that Stone will make a cameo appearance in the hugely popular Nickelodean show "iCarly." Since I'm not a girl or twelve years old, I've never seen this show, but it's a pretty big deal for a certain demographic and having Stone pop up will be a nice treat, particularly as it will be the final season for the program. Anyway, in the episode that will air later this year, Stone will play a big "iCarly" fan (meta?) who stumbles across the gang when they try to find Spencer some adult friends. If you watch the show that probably makes a lot more sense.
Anyway, before that, we'll be seeing Stone as Peter Parker's gal in "The Amazing Spider-Man" opposite Andrew Garfield, and she also plays his gal in real life. Meta again? Our head is spinning. Some more images from the movie below via HeyUGuys and Kinopoisk.
