Inside of everyone there’s a hero and a villain, unless you’re Charlie Sheen, where there is a third person, an unapologetic hedonist just living life to the fullest.
While he’s currently on hiatus from the shitty “Two and a Half Men,” where he’s the highest paid actor on television (benders in Las Vegas don’t pay for themselves), presumably to recover from a serious drug addiction, Sheen is out and about talking to the press and trying to drum up movie projects. One of his favorite people to talk to is TMZ, and he recently told them (via THR) he’s trying to get another installment of “Major League” off the ground. Calling the last entry, “Major League: Back to the Minors” an “abortion,” Sheen apparently contacted Morgan Creek directly about the project as they have already reportedly contacted Tom Berenger, Wesley Snipes and Rene Russo (really? Rene you can do so much better) about coming back for a sequel. Weird site note: Corbin Bernsen hasn’t been contact and apparently isn’t even in the script for the film but his reps say he wants to be in it. Of course, chatter about another “Major League” film has been knocking around for a while, so who knows if it’ll ever happen.
In other awesome Charlie Sheen news, the dude recently rented a yacht and invited 100 people for a screening of “Jaws” out on the water. Say what you will about Charlie Sheen, but that’s a pretty awesome way to spend some money.
