Zachary Quinto Joins Season 2 Of 'American Horror Story'; Trailer For Odd Future's Adult Swim Show 'Loiter Squad' Is Bonkers

nullSome small screen news for you, so adjust your antenna…

First up, while most of the much talked about FX series "American Horror Story" has been dumped after the first season, there are some folks coming back. Jessica Lange, who earned raves for her turn, will be back and now Deadline reports that Zachary Quinto is also returning to show for the second season. As fans know, Quinto had a four episode arc during season one, but this time around he will be regular, one of two male leads, and he will be the nemesis to Lange's character. Playing the baddie is not new territory for Quinto who first broke out on "Heroes," and it seems he certainly enjoyed his stint on the show last time out. And wait, there's more. Series creator Ryan Murphy says three more names from the first season are coming back as well, and they are expected to be announced tonight at PaleyFest.

Moving in a totally different direction, controversial hip hop collective Odd Future are headed for your TV, thanks to Adult Swim who have given them a show. The first trailer for "Loiter Squad" has arrived and yes, it's as fucking bonkers and awesome as you might have expected. Falling somewhere between "Jackass" and 'Tim & Eric' this is expectedly out there, and exactly the kind of hijinks we'd expect from Tyler The Creator and the rest of the crew. Will it be high art? No. Will it be amazing at 2 AM while drunk and/or stoned. Probably. "Loiter Squad" lands on March 25th, be prepared.

Finally, continuing his amazing post-Oscar decline, Cuba Gooding Jr. wil star in the Fox pilot "Guilty" directed by McG. Yes, that sentence you just read was real. According to Deadline, CGJ will play a defense attourney with questionable morals who is stripped of his license, but uses unorthodox methods to keep working anyway. It's basically "House" with a different profession. If it gets past pilot stage, let us know.
