Watch: 'Moon' Director Duncan Jones Heads Back To Outer Space With Virgin Money Ad Scored By Daft Punk

nullWhile we wait to see what the next feature helmed by "Moon" and "Source Code" director Duncan Jones will be, his latest gig has found him heading back in outer space. Richard Branson is now moving into banking with Virgin Money and Jones has directed by the first ad, and it finds him taking a brief trip back in time.

Utilizing Shepperton Studios where he shot "Moon," as well as extensive use of miniature models, a technique he also used on his sci-fi movie, Jones' ad is a pretty inventive little piece that takes you through the various industries Virgin has touched thus far and where they'll be going next. Oh yeah, and that music? The first piece is Mike Oldfield's "Tubular Bells" (which you remember from "The Exorcist") and the other is Daft Punk's "Outland" from "Tron: Legacy." Pretty nicely done.

The ad is now airing on ITV in the U.K., or you can just fire it up below. [Man Made Movies]
