While Arnold Schwarzenegger is cashing his standard blockbuster paycheck with "Terminator Genisys," he’s been showing an eagerness to stretch his acting chops. While this spring’s "Maggie" wasn’t very good, he displayed a sensitivity that the characters he generally plays don’t get to reveal. And now he’s got another movie brewing that will trade explosions for emotions.
Deadline reports that Schwarznegger will star in the drama "478," which has some interesting talent involved. Darren Aronofsky‘s Protozoa Pictures is producing the movie, that has a script from "Enemy" writer Javier Gullon, that follows a man’s quest for revenge against an air traffic controller whose mistake cost the lives of his wife and child. And while it sounds like a rote premise, apparently this one has some more meat on the bone than you might expect.
Production will get underway this fall, though it hasn’t been announced just yet who will direct. There’s certainly a lot of interesting elements here, so hopefully they’ll be able to come together.
