It looks October is the month for mistrustful marriages. David Fincher‘s "Gone Girl" presents a mystery where the audience must guess whether the husband or the wife is more loathsome, and coming up in a couple of weeks is "Before I Go To Sleep," in which another picture-perfect couple isn’t quite what it seems.
Produced by Ridley Scott, directed by Rowan Joffe, and starring Nicole Kidman, Colin Firth and Mark Strong, the thriller centers on a woman who wakes up each day with no memory of who she is. Her doting husband is always by her side, ever helpful, but can he be trusted? What about the doctor who is trying to piece her life back together? It’s the stuff of airplane novels (indeed, it’s based off a book by S.J. Watson), and either this will be pulpy fun, or something….a little less memorable.
"Before I Go To Sleep" arrives on October 31st. Watch below.
