Many are still mourning the passing of Robin Williams, an actor who produced a lot of work to remember to him by (we dig into this 10 Best Performances right here). But Williams worked at a relentless pace, and so there are a handful of films he completed yet to be seen. And call it smart (if somewhat opportunistic) marketing or a well timed tribute, but two clips from the upcoming "A Merry Friggin’ Christmas" have arrived online.
As you might expect from the title, the film is a twisted take on the classic holiday comedy, the story following a man begrudgingly bringing his family to his father’s home for Christmas. But when he realizes he forgot his son’s presents, he has to team up with his Dad and fight a blizzard to retrieve them. As you’ll see in this two scenes, holiday traditions are skewered in the movie, directed by Tristram Shapeero ("Bored To Death," "Community," "New Girl").
Co-starring Lauren Graham, Candice Bergen, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Pierce Gagnon, Clark Duke, and Oliver Platt, "A Merry Friggin’ Christmas" opens in theatres and On Demand on November 7th. Watch below. [Buzzfeed/Coming Soon]
