You've Got A Dirty Whorish Mouth: Which Star Is Roasting Paramount On Twitter Over 'Anchorman 2' Cancellation?

When Paramount turned down the opportunity to make a sequel to the modern comedy classic “Anchorman,” believing the film’s prospective $70 million budget to be unworkable, few were happy about the decision, particularly not the original film’s director, Adam McKay, who broke the news on his @ghostpanther Twitter account.

Not long after the decision was made public, another Twitter account was set up, purporting to belong to Paramount Films. The sarcastic and bitter tweet feed is not official to say the least, and Deadline have revealed that it’s the work of a “multi-talented actor-writer-director-producer angry at the studio.” McKay is the obvious suspect, although he’s not really an actor, so the likes of Will Ferrell, Justin Theroux and Ben Stiller (the latter two of whom are having similar problems getting “Zoolander 2” set up) could also be possibilities.

Either way, this isn’t going to help get the film made, and feels a little cry-baby-ish. You can read a selection of the tweets (which are more bitter than funny, really) below. Reports that the unnamed star’s next move is to smash Paramount’s face into a car windshield, and then take their mother, Dorothy Paramount, out for a nice seafood dinner to then never call her again are, as yet, unconfirmed.
