Looking back on Kristen Stewart‘s year, you might wonder if the actress had a moment to sleep. She’s had five films hit cinemas this year — Woody Allen‘s “Café Society,” Olivier Assayas‘ “Personal Shopper,” Kelly Reichardt‘s “Certain Women,” Drake Doremus‘ “Equals” and Ang Lee‘s “Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk” — and just typing them out made us exhausted. And she’s capping of 2016 by joyously dancing and driving in the new video from The Rolling Stones, “Ride ‘Em On Down.”
Yes, the aging rockers are still going, with their new album Blue & Lonesome in stores today. And to get the attention of youths, they hired director Francois Rousselet to helm this full throttle, sexy, and kinda super corny video. Considering what artists have been doing with the medium lately in terms of making them cinematic, this feels like a throwback to simpler times, but not always in a good way. Still, Stewart having a ball is good fun to watch. [Pitchfork]
