Clips are part of the game when it comes to marketing a movie, but if there’s any movie opening this month that might be hard to segment into pieces (except perhaps Martin Scorsese‘s “Silence“) it’s “La La Land.” The gorgeous musical, while broken up into a dizzying and dazzling array of songs, also works wonderfully as a singular suite of emotion, song and cinema. So, just bear that in mind as you proceed.
The first clip from the upcoming film sees an exciting moment, as Emma Stone’s wannabe actress lands a crucial gig, much to the excitement of musician Ryan Gosling. After that you can dive right into a featurette about the songs and more from the movie, and cap it all off with a 26-minute chat with Stone and J.K. Simmons (even though his role is cameo) about their work on the movie.
“La La Land” starts rolling out in limited release on Friday.
