When “Kingsman: The Secret Service” first arrived in 2014, the hit film came out of nowhere. The biggest stars in the film were Colin Firth and Samuel L. Jackson, but the R-rated spy spoof action film was led by a then-unknown Taron Egerton. Well, audiences loved it, Egerton’s career is launched, and now a sequel is coming, and yes, it’s going to be bigger.
Channing Tatum, Jeff Bridges, and Halle Berry have joined the ensemble, as suggested by the first-look images of the film being revealed by EW, but that’s not all — Julianne Moore and even Elton John swing by. And according to Mark Strong, those new names are a big pull. “You can’t underestimate the draw of the new actors in this cast. I’ve had people say to me, ‘Wait, you’re kidding me with those names, right?’ ” he said.
“Kingsman: The Golden Circle” opens on September 29th.
