Before the weekend, Marvel rolled out plenty of goodies from their upcoming Netflix slate including trailers for “Luke Cage” and “Iron Fist.” But the comic-book company has plenty more happening on the small screen, and over on FX, they’ll be bringing “Legion” to life, and at San Diego Comic Con, they’ve unveiled the first footage.

From “Fargo” creator Noah Hawley, Dan Stevens, Aubrey Plaza, Jean Smart, and Rachel Keller star in the series that intriguingly revolves around David Haller, the son of Charles Xavier and Gabrielle Haller, who suffers from schizophrenia, only to discover the voices he hears and visions he sees might actually be real. And yes, that means he might be the m-word (“mutant”), and it’s likely he won’t be the only one in the show with special gifts.
“Legion” will arrive on FX in early 2017.
