Over the past week, reactions and condemnations have come from all corners as the stories about Harvey Weinstein‘s sexual misconduct, harassment, and assault continue to mount. Some of Hollywood’s biggest voices including Meryl Streep, George Clooney, Ryan Gosling, Jennifer Lawrence, Jessica Chastain, Mark Ruffalo, Ryan Coogler, Julianne Moore and others have shared their disgust about the allegations coming out against Weinstein, as well as their support for the women coming forward. Also speaking out have been longtime collaborators with the exiled producer, directors Kevin Smith and Robert Rodriguez. However, one filmmaker who has been noticeably silent is perhaps the person whose relationship with Weinstein has most defined his career — Quentin Tarantino.
Through his friend Amber Tamblyn, Tarantino has now shared his initial response to the story unfolding around Weinstein (who has produced every movie since “Pulp Fiction” by the director), with a promise of more to come:

With Weinstein already talking about a comeback and issuing denials about the allegations through his publicity and legal teams, it’s more important then ever that those who stood closest and longest to Weinstein make their voices heard. Here’s hoping Tarantino offers more thoughts and words of support for the victims soon.
