Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Disputes "Generation Snowflake" Comments & Says Interview Is "100% Fabricated"

Apparently, The Rock doesn’t hate Generation Snowflake. Well, more accurately, he doesn’t even know what that is.

In a new video posted to Instagram, Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock, set the record straight about a recent “interview” that was attributed to him that included a series of quotes that featured the actor going off on millennials and young folks, saying how they are always offended and ruining society. It was basically an interview that could have been attributed to any number of people on Twitter. But when you have the biggest action star on the planet saying those things, people took notice.

Well, according to Johnson, not only are the quotes that were printed in the recent Daily Star article false, the entire interview was “100% fabricated.”

“The interview never took place, never happened, never said any of those words, completely untrue, 100% fabricated, I was quite baffled when I woke up this morning,” he said.

“You know it’s not a real DJ [Dwayne Johnson] interview if I’m insulting a group, a generation or anyone, because that’s not me.”

In typical Dwayne Johnson behavior, his video also talked about how he wants everyone to be who they are and he promotes empathy and growth, which is a far cry from the statements printed in the recent article. For its credit, the Daily Star has removed the article from the site, but no apology has been given. There are many who say that it’s likely that the publication purchased the interview from a freelance writer and never did the due diligence to check the accuracy of the statements.

Either way, for those hoping The Rock is an SJW-hating Trump supporter, it appears that isn’t quite the case. He very well might feel that way in his bones, but at least in the public eye, he’s going to remain as un-offensive and diplomatic as possible. Keep in mind, he still has to sell those movie tickets.
