With “Avengers: Endgame” creeping ever so close to release, Marvel has a slight dilemma on their hands already evinced by “Spider-Man: Far From Home” trailer spoilers that reveal characters that survived the events of ‘Infinity War,’ and ‘Endgame,’ beyond the obvious like Peter Parker. But Marvel has cleverly pirouetted around that problem with the upcoming “Captain Marvel,” the company’s second prequel following “Captain America: The First Avenger.”
You’ve seen that infamous clip in the first trailer where Captain Marvel, played by Brie Larson, punches out an old lady on the subway which caused minor controversy for those that don’t know the Marvel story. That old lady, of course, turned out to be a Skrull, the shape-shifting alien race and bad guys of “Captain Marvel,” that she has to defend Earth against (could this eventually lead to a Secret Invasion storyline?)
Well, Larson has now released a clip that appears to be a follow-up to that scene, still battling it out with the Skrulls, but now on the top of the subway. There’s also been a new TV spot released and even more, is expected tomorrow on Super Bowl game day.
