'Welcome To The Blumhouse' Trailer: An Anthology of Horror Comes To Amazon In October

Let’s face it, producer Jason Blum’s Blumhouse production company runs the horror game in Hollywood and no one else comes close. The “Halloween” franchise? Given to Blumhouse. Universal’s planned Monster-verse? After its failure, Uni gave it to Blumhouse to pick apart and so far, (“The Invisible Man”), it’s only been hits. Blumhouse makes relatively inexpensive movies and turns major profits on movies. Ambitious scale doesn’t seem to be necessary, as all their projects seem to really nail the psychological and violent emotional nitty gritty of horror. You don’t need to spend $200 million (or even $75+ million) for that and Blumhouse seems to know this perfectly. Up next? Horror for the high rollers over at Amazon who enlisted Blumhouse for a new anthology horror project: “Welcome To The Blumhouse,” which is essentially four different, cost-effective horror movies made by diverse talents all under the Blumhouse banner.
