Jason Momoa Voices His Support Of Ray Fisher In The Actor's Ongoing Feud With Warner Bros.

Feuds are nothing new in Hollywood. Especially when you consider the film industry features studios that routinely pay millions of dollars for actors to appear in films that cost hundreds of millions of dollars more. You have to assume that there’s going to be a bit of tension amongst everyone involved, as expectations are massive on a blockbuster. But even still, the apparent disagreement between Warner Bros. and “Justice League” actor Ray Fisher is surprisingly messy and public. And now, with Jason Momoa joining the fracas, the feud is expanding.

Over the weekend, we saw both Warner Bros. and Ray Fisher release more statements about the ongoing issue between the two parties. Fisher started this weeks ago by claiming that “Justice League” filmmaker, Joss Whedon (who took over reshoots after Zack Snyder departed), and producers Jon Berg and Geoff Johns were all part of a massive culture of abuse and threats. WB eventually responded by saying the studio would look into the claims of Fisher and come up with a resolution.

However, a resolution doesn’t appear to be coming anytime soon, as WB recently claimed that Fisher isn’t being cooperative, while the actor’s rebuttal says that he has been doing whatever he can to help the investigation. All that to say, the issues with Fisher seems to have bled over into the overall relationship with WB and out of the sphere of “Justice League.” And in this war of words, Jason Momoa stands with Fisher.

Jason Momoa, the star of “Aquaman” and “Justice League,” recently posted an Instagram story (which was shared by Fisher on Twitter) that showed a picture of his co-star along with the caption “#IStandWithRayFisher.” There’s no other statement from Momoa about his support for Fisher and his claims, but with the hashtag, we can only assume that the actor not only agrees with his “Justice League” co-stars quarrel with WB but also with the initial claims that Whedon and the producers were involved in some misconduct while filming the highly-publicized reshoots.

As we saw with the Snyder Cut controversy, Momoa was the first ‘JL’ cast member to fully support the filmmaker, which started a chain reaction of his co-stars joining the discussion. We’ll just have to wait and see if Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, and the rest will join Momoa and his support of Fisher.
