We are forever sad to know the days of Comedy Central’s “Key & Peele” are long gone and both Keegan Michael-Key and Jordan Peele are off doing bigger, better projects. However, Netflix is getting the duo back together for a new film, “Wendell & Wild.”
And since the film isn’t scheduled to arrive until 2022, the streaming service has decided to tease “Wendell & WIld” in a pretty unique way. Sure, there’s a quick teaser that you can watch, showing the characters, a duo of “personal demons” that live with a teenager named Kat, but the streaming service also has a livestream going right now that shows peeks at the characters as well as playing some great Afropunk jams.

Here’s the description of the film:
“From the mad geniuses that brought us CORALINE & GET OUT… meet WENDELL & WILD (Keegan-Michael Key, Jordan Peele), the hellishly funny personal demons of a teen named Kat.”
The livestream is a fairly static shot of a boombox playing Kat’s playlist, which features Afro punk tracks by Sate, Big Joanie, Nafets, Bad Brains, Death, and more. And if you watch long enough, you might sneak a peek at the demons that have possessed the radio.
“Wendell & Wild” stars the aforementioned Key and Peele. The film comes from legendary stop-motion director Henry Selick (“Coraline” and “The Nightmare Before Christmas”), who co-wrote the feature alongside Peele.
