'Close To Me' Trailer: Connie Nielsen & Christopher Eccleston Try To Piece Together A Lost Year In New AMC Mini-Series

After an accident causes her to lose the memory of the entire past year, a woman attempts to reintegrate back to the life she once had. The problem is, was that life actually what she thought it was?

So goes the set-up for “Close To Me,” an all-new six-part mini-series set to hit Sundance Now and AMC+ this winter. The thriller stars Connie Nielson as a wife whose memory loss opens up rifts of suspicion with her family and traces secrets that go back decades.

Here’s the show’s official synopsis:

Based on Amanda Reynold’s magnetic and unsettling novel of the same name, Close to Me follows Jo Harding, a woman who seems to have it all, until a fall erases an entire year from her memory. As she struggles to piece events together, Jo discovers that her life wasn’t quite as perfect as she imagined and that someone will do all they can to keep a terrible secret from her.

The show also stars Christopher Eccleston, Susan Lynch, Leanne Best, Nick Blood, Tom Taylor, Henning Jensen, and Rosy McEwenAngela Pell, best known for the 2016 film “Snow Cake,” adapts Amanda Reynold’s novel for the small screen.  Michael Samuels, known for last year’s “The Windermere Children” and the 2016 mini-series “The Missing,” directs the film.
