Does Kristen Stewart Hate Her Golden 'Twilight' Handcuffs?

Kristen Stewart doesn’t suffer fools gladly. She has an icy and stand-0ffish demeanor, and one utilized in fairly normal fashion for defensive, up-and-coming stars grappling with overexposure and fame. It’s understandable, one must imagine it must be taxing trying to negotiate the lunatic tween fans of the “Twilight” series and the burden of the whole series. But she’s beginning to chafe it seems.

It was rumored that she might present at the Oscars, but instead only her co-star Robert Pattinson did last Sunday evening. Access Hollywood caught up with her father John Stewart (no, not the Comedy Central dude) and asked why she turned down the prestigious offer.

He responded and said Kristen would only present, “When it’s a great movie, not just one that makes a lot of money.”

Oooh, burnsauce notice, anyone?

Does that represent her feelings about the film? Sure implies it, no? A recent interview with Nylon magazine, give further evidence and also suggest she’s a little tired of the whole bloody thing, and described the “psychotic situations” and “bullsh—questions” of the “Twilight” promotional tour.

Does Kristen Stewart hate her “Twilight” golden handcuffs? Survey says: Yes. Can you blame her? She’s already talked about some of the cornball dialogue in previous EW interviews, so the franchise is probably both a blessing and a curse. [MTV]
