By time point, you might be tired of hearing about Bong Joon-ho‘s snow laden, apocalyptic epic “Snowpiercer.” And we’d understand. First there was the months of wrangling about when this movie would be seen stateside, and in which version (don’t worry, we’re getting the director’s cut), and then there’s been the plethora of promo material as film has opened overseas. Well, if you’re not exhausted yet, here’s one more trailer.
Don’t get us wrong, we’re looking forward to this star-studded effort (Chris Evans, Tilda Swinton, John Hurt, Jamie Bell, Octavia Spencer, Alison Pill, Ed Harris, Ewen Bremner, Song Kang-ho, Ko Ah-sung), following a revolt on a train that carries Earth’s last survivors, where a brutal class/social/political system is still in play. We’d just rather see the thing already, than yet another trailer. Why? Because, as our man in the U.K. noted last fall, this is one is pretty “visionary, thrilling” stuff (though a follow-up review suggests, “whoa, slow down a bit on that sentiment”).
“Snowpiercer” opens on June 27th. Watch below. 6.6.14 Update: a new U.S. poster has arrived via Vulture.
